1. Talk of the Town
In the number one spot, Talk of the Town stands tall. Being in business for 35 years, the chefs of this restaurant have achieved perfection in their homemade dough and sauce. The name “Talk of the Town” speaks for itself. Since my family and friends first tried this pizza, it’s rare for us to eat or recommend anything else. Why is it so hard to beat? The source of its excellence is hard to pinpoint. Whether it be the liberal amount of cheese, the savoriness of the sauce, or the guarantee that every topping will be cooked well into the pizza, the makers have created a perfect ratio of all ingredients so you can savor each bite. The common argument that Harvest pizza--being similar since the owners once worked at Talk of the Town--is better is arguable. Harvest pizza has a much sweeter taste and a decidedly softer crust. If you prefer those two components, I can understand the argument that Harvest pizza is comparable.

2. Jude’s Top Pick: Mia’s Pizzeria
Jude, our newspaper's (second best) pizza connoisseur, insisted that Mia’s be included in this article. While I don’t disagree with this counterclaim, my forgetting of Mia’s is due to the very few times I’ve been there. When I ask people their favorite pizza’s, I hear a lot of Amore, Queen of Hearts, etc. But when do you hear Mia’s? Why does everyone forget about it? Perhaps it’s the appearance of the building that makes it seem unwelcoming. However, the pizza is indeed deserving of a top spot. As Jude puts it, it’s the closest thing in the area to getting NYC style pizza. Not to mention the wings! It’s frustrating when you order wings and there's too little sauce, or the meat is too mushy. But at Mia’s, neither is a problem; the sauce is delectable and the chefs cook the wings just right. Conclusively, Mia’s Pizzeria is the place to go when you're looking for a fulfilling pizza night with friends.

3. Dominos
Next up, Domino’s Pizza. I am fully aware that this is a chain restaurant, but I am also aware that this pizza and the sides are always delicious and hit the spot guaranteed. The crust of this pizza is fluffy and seasoned to perfection. Even if you fall into the category of people who normally refuse to eat the crust of a pizza, this one will surprise you. It pairs impeccably with the perfect amount of cheese. My only critique is that if you are a big sauce person, this pizza doesn’t have a lot of it. Nonetheless, it is addictively delectable and when paired with cheesy bread or wings, it makes for a house of happy people.
